About the Artist
I’m an abstract-leaning artist working primarily in ink drawings to create pieces that play with the viewers' perception with an emphasis on pattern, repetition, and systems of my own creation.
My drawing practice has roots in minimalism, but unlike many historic and recognized minimalist artists, it is not my intention to disengage from meaning. On the contrary, it is a goal of mine to create and imbue meaning into the abstractions.
While my current efforts remain on drawing, I have also cultivated and maintain an interest in poetry writing and am invested in nurturing a relationship between my writing and my visual work. In addition, I have trained in etching and intaglio printing.
